10 Well-being Soundbites
I’ve been doing some messaging work with a consultant, and I’ve discovered that one of the most enjoyable parts of the process for me was playing with soundbites – even the ones I didn’t end up using in my core messaging. I’ve been wrestling with ways to describe the importance of prioritizing balance and wellbeing in the goals we set for ourselves. I’m happy with where my message has landed (more on this to come), but the full thing isn’t quite ready to share yet – consider this your teaser.
Till then, I thought I’d share some of my favorite soundbites that DIDN’T make the cut, but still ring true:
- Use daily disciplines to build a wealth of health.
- Get things done without leaving yourself out of the equation.
- Discovery, creativity, and innovation require space – support that space.
- Don’t wait for a health crisis to earn your right to balance.
- Movement does not mean momentum.
- Recognize the different forms of resistance in your life so you can lean in when necessary and back off when it’s called for.
- Avoid over labeling yourself. The lure of over-identifying with one way of being is a heuristics trap. You’re more than that.
- What you measure ends up being what matters to you. Measure what you want to matter.
- Pace and placement are not nearly as important as progress.
- Reflect back as much as you dream forward.
What do you think? Would any of these make the cut for a slogan?
Thanks for reading with me today. I hope one of these soundbites resonated with you today.
